The cabin was great- it slept 4 people and 2 dogs comfortably. It does not have A/C, so it could get pretty warm in the afternoons even with the fans on. But it cooled off in the evenings and mornings. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer. There is a clothesline outside to dry your clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Access in and out of the cabin was easy, and there are gas stations and a grocery store nearby. It was a great little place, and I would book it again.

This was our second stay at Buffalo River Retreat, and we would stay again! We highly recommend this cabin. Approximately a 30-minute drive to West Yellowstone and the entrance to Yellowstone NP. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at the cabin; we had plenty of towels and washcloths for everyone for the week; and the beds were comfortable after a long day of exploring everything Yellowstone has to offer.

We loved our stay. We only had one mishap - a wine glass that was sitting out on the counter while we were gone cracked and broke! We aren't sure how it happened - it was fine when we drank from it! It was a warm day? In any event we threw it away.

We had great time here and the stay was merely perfect expect for a few minor things. They even have nice sit out area with firewood place and barbecue.
