Welcome to your rustic Huckleberry Lodge, nestled on a quiet wooded lot near Sawtelle Mountain. This 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom lodge with a spacious loft is perfect for larger groups or families, offering modern amenities and easy access to Yellowstone and Island Park trails.

Sleeping Arrangements

The main level includes two private bedrooms with queen beds.
The basement level offers two bedrooms with two queen beds each and an additional bedroom with one queen bed.
The upper level includes a private bedroom with a queen bed and a loft area furnished with two queen beds, a couch, and a foosball table.

Living Areas

The main floor living room features a gas rock fireplace and comfortable seating for group gatherings. A second family room in the basement provides additional space with satellite television and a propane fireplace.

Kitchen and Dining

The fully equipped kitchen includes a large dining table and small appliances suited for group cooking, including a griddle, drip coffee maker, blender, mixer, crockpot, and large beverage pitchers. A washer and dryer with detergent are available for guest use.

Bathrooms

Three full bathrooms are located throughout the home, with one on each level for convenience.

Outdoor Space

Guests can relax in the covered hot tub or enjoy the brand-new sauna after a day of adventure. A BBQ grill with propane provided is available for outdoor cooking.

Important Information

This property does not include air conditioning. Pets are not permitted, smoking is prohibited, and camp trailers, RVs, and tents are not allowed.

Location and Access

The lodge is located near Sawtelle Mountain, approximately 22 miles from Yellowstone National Park’s West Entrance. Grocery stores and gas stations are less than one mile away. Miles of snowmobile and ATV trails are easily accessible from the area.

For larger groups, this lodge may be rented together with the neighboring property, Huckleberry Inn, for expanded lodging capacity. Separate pricing applies.

Getting Around

Guests will need to make sure they have their own vehicle. Summer months are fine with a small car but four wheel drive is a must in the winter!

It would help to let people know If you’re an out of state resident, a street-licensed UTV (with a restricted vehicle plate or other legal road registration) still generally must display a valid Idaho OHV (UTV) sticker when operated on Idaho trails and on many roads open to OHVs. Having a license plate alone does not replace the Idaho OHV sticker requirement. In the basement bedrooms the carpet felt wet when you’re standing on it with socks and also the rooms smell mildewy other than that. We had a great time and we would definitely rent your place again. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay at your lovely Cabin.

The property was spacious and clean. Everything you needed was available. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was great for our large group. We would stay again if in these parts and highly recommend.

Nice cabin in a beautiful setting. We reserved the property for 16 but only had 10 family come. It turned out that may have been a good thing because we would have been a little cramped in the main dining and living areas with all of us even though the listing states it will accommodate 20. It is in a very convenient location not far from the main road and easy to find.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time at the Huckleberry Lodge! There was plenty of room for everyone. We could enjoy fun time together or have privacy in the home’s multiple spaces. The home and grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed the surrounding area and businesses and would definitely recommend this home for a large group.

We spent 5 days at Huckleberry Lodge, and it wasn’t long enough. We had 6 adults and 3 teenagers. Three floors gave each family privacy. More than enough room for all of us. Everything we needed was provided. The hot tub was always a welcome, relaxing end to a day hiking. We had some fierce matches at the
