We spent two weeks here in the winter, and were very comfortable. We saw moose daily walking by the creek right in front of the deck. We rode snowmobiles right from the front yard into the woods and up the mountain. Google and iphone maps shows the location to be a little different than it actually is, and roads dead end not shown on maps. The driveway is tight and curved with tall snow banks which makes backing a trailer in rather difficult. Every room in the house has it's own thermostat and baseboard electric heat which was great for everyone to stay comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were great. The management does a nice job stocking supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, etc so we didn't need to bring so much. Our AT&T phones worked well, but would really be nice if they had wifi. Most rentals do now days. Overall a great place that didn't leave much to complain about. Gives you a nice feeling the moment you walk inside. Highly recommend!

We loved it! We wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Island Park as a family-we had five adults and three children and we had a great time! There was plenty of room-bedrooms were nice, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed-the table in the dining area was beautiful and the views out the windows were amazing. We saw 3 moose the one morning and woke up to it snowing the next day. Main bath has a beautiful claw foot bathtub. We had a great time and made some great memories-even took family pictures outside and they turned out great. We were called upon arrival to make sure we had made it safely and then had someone show up to make sure the driveway was plowed for us. We are already planning our next trip there for Turkey Day!! Thank You!!

I reserved this cabin specifically for a small family gathering because my son and daughter-in law have two small dogs and this cabin is one of the few pet-friendly places available. In a nutshell, this place was awesome! It was even better than the pictures depicted. The queen log bed in the master has been replaced with a king size bed, and the log queen size is now in the loft area. The master bath is stunning. The kitchen with its big breakfast bar and beautiful huge table was amazing. The flooring downstairs (which looks to be carpet in the picture) is now a beautiful wood-look vinyl. The two futons in the living room have been replaced with two of the biggest most comfortable leather couches I have ever seen, and they each recline on both ends. (I have been coveting these couches ever since....next time I reserve this place I am going to look for a brand name and get myself one of these couches!) One of the bedrooms upstairs has a queen bed. The other bedroom (if I recall correctly) had a full bed, bunk beds, and one of the futons. We loved the privacy (this is almost to the end of a dead end street...there are other cabins around but you can't see them through the trees). The view is amazing. Very beautiful and peaceful. Even the towels were awesome! I actually came home and bought all new towels! We had a wonderful time in this cabin and honestly, on my next visits to Island Park...for the tranquility and amenities, and especially the price (its hard to find a MOTEL room for that price, and here you get a beautiful cabin!), even with NO pets this will be my cabin of choice!

If you have ever dreamed of a get away where you don't have to watch your neighbors from the deck of your cabin--this is the place. As advertised, this cabin is secluded, quiet and serene.

If you have ever dreamed of a get away where you don't have to watch your neighbors from the deck of your cabin--this is the place. As advertised, this cabin is secluded, quiet and serene. During the height of the busy snow machining day, you could hardly hear the noise from this location and there was no snow machine or vehicle traffic going by the cabin. It was everything that it was portrayed to be in the listing. We traveled to Big Sky, Montana on a day trip and were delighted to see mountain sheep and moose. From the cabin we went snowshoeing on the adjoining forest service ground and found that our only neighbors were fox, rabbits and perhaps a bobcat. We have and will continue to recommend Moose Lodge to our family and friends and look forward to returning there ourselves. Our thanks to the owner for providing a quality cabin so we were able to have a memorable experience.
